This paper chronicles our experiences developing outreach programs around AdaCAD from 2024-2025. In it, we describe how the term “experimental weaving” has become a useful term for identifying people who engaging weaving from many different backgrounds. We map where, and how, we see experimental weaving taking place and identify the key challenges that have shaped community formation in the space.
