Design Bookkeeping is a pictorial publication that describes the various forms of knowledge and practices that we developed during the production of the Magnetic Reverberations. We wrote the article to describe the key role of bookkeeping (making note of all the little practices and habits used to make a project work) could play in advancing smart textiles innovation. The bookkeeping “entries” that we make hold partial bits of craft knowledge that we develop for ourselves and could also inspire another practitioner or researcher to take similar steps. They explore the how, more than the what, and we describe the practices we engaged in that helped us both produce and document these bits of “know-how”
